For members of the IGKT, there is no need to present this knotters’ bible. However, it is worth mentioning this re-print for all those who were not able to procure a copy of the original edition which I think is no longer available. The plasticised cover of the new edition (April 2017) is more restrained, in my opinion more elegant, though lacking the humour of the previous French edition – the editor had called on the talents of the now deceased Roger Blachon, then retired cartoonist of «L’Équipe» and especially known for his drawings of sporting personalities. Perhaps some would prefer to have an electronic version of this large book which could be used on a tablet and more easily carried
