The Buckler’s Hard Shipyard Trust are running a Traditional Ship and Boatbuilding Craft Day.
See real traditional wooden ship and boatbuilding crafts demonstrated in the historic 18thc shipbuilding village of Buckler’s Hard. Historic sailmaker, rope craft, blacksmith, shipwrights, sawyers, tool specialists and more.

Thames Traditional Boat Festival - Henley-on-Thames, UK
This Festival takes place on a lovely site on meadows overlooking the river Thames. It has a large range of traditional Thames boats along with other exhibits and stands.
Camping is available for tents and vans.

Yorkshire Branch Demonstrating
IGKT Yorkshire branch will be demonstrating rope-making and fender-making at the 25th anniversary of the re-opening of the Huddersfield Canal. This will be a great day out at the entrance to the longest canal tunnel in the UK at 3.25 miles (5km). Come and enjoy the fun!

Bois de la Chaise Regatta, Noirmoutier Island
The Bois de la Chaise Regatta (Les Régates du Bois de la Chaise) is one of the most prominent traditional sailing gatherings on the French Atlantic coast, held annually on Noirmoutier Island (Vendée, France). Organised by the Association La Chaloupe, the event draws over 50 classic wooden boats and roughly 20,000 spectators each summer.
IGKT France will be demonstrating.
