Possibly new Eskimo Bowline?
« on: January 31, 2020, 11:41:17 AM »
Hello IGKT. I am new to this forum. I've just created a variation of an Eskimo Bowline. I call it the - Lock Eskimo Bowline. Here are some Photos.

Again; this is not 'new'.

It is an 'anti Yosemite Bowline' tied with S (left) chirality.

There is also a Z (right) chirality version.

Note also that there are 'anti' versions of several different 'Bowlines... for example:
[ ] anti Bowline on-a-bight
[ ] anti Lees link Bowline
[ ] anti EBSB Bowline
there are likely many more...

The S chirality leads me to think that you are left handed?

Interestingly, the anti Yosemite Bowline can only be tied  from the tail outside orientation of the anti #1010 Bowline.
Note that there are in fact 4 different variants of the anti #1010 Bowline (originally pointed out by Xarax several years ago).
