« on: December 04, 2019, 06:16:32 PM »
hello, is there anyone out there who has successfully tied the "mariners wheel" as shown in "the dictionary of knot's and fancy ropework". I have been trying to tie this piece for the past 20 years without success.  Rick Sorensen   rsorensen7@cfl.rr.com. Thank you

Good day Rick.

I have never tied one myself, way too much work and I don't have a mariner's wheel anyway.
But, I have a link for you to check out. http://www.frayedknotarts.com/wheel.html It is to a member's site, Vince Brennan, who does fantastic work and shares tutorials for various projects.
Maybe he will come in to the Forum soon and respond or you can contact him through his site.

Good luck and when you get it done, please share a picture.
