new knot?
« on: March 21, 2019, 02:27:17 AM »
I am new to forums and am interested in finding out if this knot has a name. It is easy to make, easy to use and easy to take apart once it is finished being used.

As noted, it's an extension of the angler's loop,
with your slip-bight going on to safely collar
the SPart EYE legs (!) and thereby avoid being pulled out.
Though this means that one cannot do that
quick untying of the knot IF it's holding something.

((Interesting point : how many knots can you think
of that collar the eye legs?! --not counting those where
the SPart turns around them, and of course contains
them.  With the angler's loop, if one loads the tail, it then
has a nipping turn like a bowline and an eye-legs collar
--though isn't so stable.))

Thanks,
