Howdy from New Hampshire
« on: March 07, 2019, 06:56:04 PM »
Been poking about this site for a while, and finally getting around to posting.
Just finished some curtains, using canvas, with sewn in grommets, and then tied a curtain tie back of an eye at one end, leading to a diamond knot/lanyard knot, leading to one of JD's longhorn knots, doubled, which finally ends at a 74-face globe knot.  So far, I haven't bothered with glue to hold the longhorn knot in place, but, I might be adding that shortly.

Long time ago, I made a ditty bag and a needle case.  Recently, introduced my daughter to macrame, and she and I both have been tying up small plant hangers - in my case, I did a couple micros that are just big enough to house a small air plant.

Been a while since I've done much knotwork, and I've almost forgotten how much  I enjoyed it!

Thanks!
Soon as I shrink some down a bit, I'll post a few. Already added the micro macrame plant hangers over in the"show your work" section.  Will add JD's "endless falls azulejo" key docs I did, soon.
