yChan's Knot - Mocha Loop Knot

Hi dear all,

I would like to present here the Mocha Loop Knot for your comment.

This knot consists of a Crossing Knot #206 and a split pin liked U-turned tail. The first end of the split pin enters th Crossing Knot and the second tail enters in the way of marlingspike and they pair together to complete the knot.

After finished the knot, the SPart and the left loop leg are pulled to tightened the knot in order to achieve a locking effect likes to close an opened book. In this locking, the Crossing Knot #206 also functioned as Marlingspike Hitch #559 acts as the spin of a book. It tightens and bends of the split pin and closes/folds the knot. For un-tying it, we need to open the book (knot), tuck back the ends of the split pin (tail).

Some testings with thin and thick ropes by hand are taken, shaking and ring loading are of no problem.

Happy Knotting
yChan
