What knot to use to tie a paracord around my waist

Hi I'm new here, I basically registered to ask a stupid question:  What knot should I choose if I want to:
1.Put a paracord around my waist
2.Tie a knot to make it a circle, easily adjust it to fit to the right circumference of my waist (like a ziptie)
3.Cut off the redundant parts, let the circle sit there and never become enlarged on its own

If you know a knot that's suitable, please tell me the name, and I'll google it. Thanks!

I'm glad you included the details of what's being done.  It seems like it should be compact, and wiggle-resistant, but allow some initial adjustment. 

I tried it on myself, and a Zeppelin Bend can work:

To make adjustments after tying, shove cord into the knot from the excess around your waist and it is fairly easy to work that excess to the free ends.
