Powerful bowline nipping loop

Hi All,
        Why I have to look so hard for, why not make use of the Powerful bowline nipping loop?

   Noope ! Not powerful enough, I am afraid... And the reason is that it is too convoluted : See the "higher" collar- it does not play any role in the nipping / gripping action on the returning eyeleg. On the contrary, it consumes tension, which otherwise could be used directly, to immobilize it.
   Alan, do me a favour : For not-TIB adjustable loops, compare them to the most simple one shown at

   You will see that it is very difficult to add more segments, without subtracting nipping power ! Simplicity is a functional requirement in such loops !

P.S. When you test such loops, wrap the tip of their eyes around a bearing, so the tension from the one leg can reach to the other. I also use to "help", manually, the "strong" leg a little bit, so the "weak" is forced to bear more than 50% of the total load - as it happens in practice very often.
