« on: February 06, 2014, 07:30:07 AM »
Hi All,
I work on some other knots and end up with this hitch, I can't find this hitch in Ashley book, Try to search the hitch in this
forum, there are 33 pages, it will take forever to go thought all the pages. I am sure some one would like to let me know the
name of this hitch. this may no be a good hitch, but I like the way it look.

        謝謝 alan lee

To my eyes it looks like the decorative hitches shown in Ashley - because, as a practical hitch, it is somewhat inferior to the same-number-of-wraps Double Constrictor, in one of its three forms we discussed at (1), the common one, the ABoK#1453 and the one shown at (2)-(3). To go from your hitch to the common Double Constrictor ( the one with the two oblique riding turns ), you have to swap the over / under crossings shown within the two small green circles - so the pull of the ends will become more easy and their "lock" more secure. For another, more complex very tight Constrictor, with 4 wraps, see (4).

   Respectfully yours,
   Mr. Find
