A kinky problem

Any suggestions on how to get the kinks out of nylon string so it can be reused?

You mean the individual strands? I dunno, maybe immerse in water and then hang to dry with a weight on the end.  May be easier to just get new rope.

Thanks.  I thought about heating it somehow (without melting it).  Maybe I'll try that.  Or go buy some more.  :P

curling/hair straightening iron.

Alternately steaming will work.

You might try dipping it in boiling water and then hang it out to dry.
