Any suggestions on how to get the kinks out of nylon string so it can be reused?

You mean the individual strands? I dunno, maybe immerse in water and then hang to dry with a weight on the end. May be easier to just get new rope.

Thanks. I thought about heating it somehow (without melting it). Maybe I'll try that. Or go buy some more.

You might try dipping it in boiling water and then hang it out to dry.
