Why don't you have a member review books amd plublish a column in knotting matters.  Or have a space on the website to review and rate new books.   -Joe :)

Hi Joe,

You must have been too busy re-naming knots.

KM has reviewed new knot books since year one of the IGKT.

The only difference is the speed of communication today, putting the foot nearer the mouth.

I'm waiting for a Matthew Walker knot tied in alternating red and white strands to be posted as "Japanese Vertical Flag Knot"....

The website could have a book review section.  While we still have books.

This is one of those few moments where I'll agree with Joe. It would be nice to have the book reviews posted on the website, or perhaps as a forum/sub-forum here. More accessable and make choosing what to buy much easier.

Does it have to be an offical IGKT Book Review?  If you have a knot book that you have read and like or have read and want others to avoid, then go ahead and start a thread.  There are a couple of threads about Lindsey's and JD's new books.

Too many people are making posts about what they think the Guilde should be doing, waiting for someone else to do it.  Step up!  That's my 2 cents, rant off.

I own an autographed copy of Lindsey's newest work, "The Ultimate Book of Decorative Knots" and I recommend it to all of the Guild members.
It is superbly constructed with clear photos, instructions and historical tidbits.
My review of it is summed up in this: Excellent.
I have already tied some unknown (to me) knots. That makes it fun.

Next book review???
