Hi.

I know knothing about knots. I am helping out with a play and I have an actor who needs to come onstage with hands bound behind his back. He'll have to do this himself. How do I construct something that he can slip his hands into and tighten enough to look convincing and then easily escape?

Any suggestions are welcome!

You might have something like this ready:

It might take some practice to draw up to look tight behind one's back.
