Trick double overhand stopper knot
Notice it looks the same on both sides. Makes an attractive one strand stopper knot

Most peoples first attempt looks fine on the one (obverse) side but has a flaw on the reverse side at point "a"

Hi Tony
Tried to achieve your trick stopper knot but just can;t get it to look like yours.
It looks simple enough but I must be missing something.
I keep ending up with only one crossover on the right, not a double.
If I go under two, it looks a bit better but has the defect you mention.
