Thank you JD.

I visit THIS forum, not to get links to another site.

You don't have to click on the links. However, if you have an alternative suggestion, then please advise?

Why not simply insert a link to the YouTube video directly rather than via the Solent Branch website (a link to which is already shown in your posts if anyone wants to go there)?

My suggestion for an alternative, is to post the tutorial here. This is the place for IGKT tutorials after all ...
It matters little if it is youtube, branches, or private web pages. Coming here, just to go elsewhere, defeats the purpose.

Hi JD.
I am on board with Sweeney with respect to direct linking to the video. Cuts down on multiple clicks and time to the offering.
I wish we could find a way to reduce video size so we could post directly in the forum...
I appreciate you sharing the tutorial nonetheless.

I think then the solution would be to allow videos to be embedded in posts. This should be possible with Simple Machines.

If Soylent is his home site as it were, demanding that he post both here and there is onerous. My suggestion is to just post with clear annotations so that the audience knows exactly what is on the other end of the provided links like so:
Quick introduction for a no buckle Portuguese Sinnet bracelet (paracord) (http://igkt-solent.co.uk/paracord-bracelet-mad-max-style-girls-buckles-tie/).
Instructions are in a simple video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJiWkmDf0nw)
Although the text on the Soylent page is certainly short enough to copy over wholesale...
