I noticed on Des Pawson's website, he has Ron Edwards listed as the author of "Knots Useful and Ornimental". However, when I search Amazon.com for that title, it has George Russell Shaw as the author.
Is GRS the correct author, or is ther more than one knotting book with the same title?

More than one title - the Ron Edwards book is one of the Bushcraft series so is probably hidden

Anyone have any comments on the GRS book then?

The GRS book is a 194 page hardback which dates back to as far as 1924 and I think reprinted in 1933 - Text is handwriting and illustrations hand drawn diagrams.
The Ron Edwards book is a very useful 36 page soft cover booklet - text is typeset and it is illustrated in the Ashley style of decoration with well drawn knot illustrations.

GRS (1933 2nd Edn) has been reprinted by Dover (ISBN-13 978-0-486-46020-8) in 2008 as Practical and Ornamental Knots , and there was a UK edition from Ward Lock in 1973 titled Knots: Useful & ornamental (ISBN-10 0-7063-10764 (hardback) and 0-7063-1590-1(paperbound))
