International Guild of Knot Tyers

KNOTS USEFUL AND ORNANENTAL,

by George Russell Shaw, pub. by BonanzaBooks, New York (1924 and 1933).

You need to enlist the help of a dealer in second-hand books to track down this collector's item for you since it's long out of print. It won't cost a lot but you'll value it. 193 pages of the author's sketches and a sparse text show you how to tie all kinds of knots. It pre-dates Ashley and portrays a lot of work generally assumed to originate with him.
