Found it on Facebook with no attribute.

Wire frame graphics.
Many graphics software offer this.

Tie your knots with this stuff (nylon mesh tubes), and you don't need a computer.   :D

Thanks Carol,  that is what I call clever thinking.

Turns out that it is available over here in the UK as 'Hollow Craft Nylon Mesh Tubing', 30p per m.

I should have some here by next week to play with - I think the challenge though is going to be stopping my grandkids from making bracelets with it...  Perhaps I shouldn't have also ordered those magnetic endcaps.
