Does anyone know how to ?

I found a knot that is just what I was looking for, except it's clear as mud to me...
There are pictures that show the first knot made but it stops there on how
to continue the second.. and it doesn't show if the back of the knot is braided also or
if the strand just goes straight across... here is the link....
I could do the first knot easily enough just don't know where to go... Thanks..
