Not QUITE a knot, but...
I'm looking to worm some rope, but here is the question, what makes the worming stay in the cuntline?

Charlie,
In short you use force, use a serving mallet will be of help. it is hauled in, a long marlin spike or fid as a fulcrum will do also,

At least on the cheap rope I went to practice on, it pulled into the core - then again, it IS cheap polypro rope, so...
