Pyrotechnical knot question

The above link was mentioned by  Scott and Knot4u at http://igkt.net/sm/index.php?topic=3748.0 - Drugstorebrewer's question about securing corks in bottles of pressurised liquid.

When I went to look at it, I noticed that just above the Champagne and Beer knots, was the Pyrotechnical knot.  I know I'm a permanent amateur, but isn't that a Clove Hitch by another name?

Mind you, finding it led me to this interesting site for my son: http://www.pyroinnovations.com/fireworkstraining_aerialshells.html

Yes, Tim still wants to be a firefighter, and now he's 12 (this is an ambition of 10 years now) he's looking to prepare himself seriously for the profession.  My, it doesn't feel like 6 years ago I first came to this forum....

Hi Glenys aka permanent amateur. ;-)

I think you are graduating from that status now in that you got that one just right.
So many names so few knots. lol

Learning pyrotechnics is a great way to learn to become a firefighter (-.-) and I think Tim will be off to a great start. Just make sure that the making of the fire doesn't overwhelm  the desire to put them out.
