At a recent meeting to review the website, it was questioned whether there had been any use of the Chat Room recently.

As it was not possible to find a log of recent activity, it was decided to suspend the Chat Room whilst we evaluate its usefulness.

If this has inconvenienced anyone, please contact me via email as the fastest route.

Dear All

I have received only one comment regarding the Chat Room, which was a helpful evaluation of why it was not used by that person, and some recommendations for future Chat.  In the event that there is an interest in Chat, we will certainly be taking those recommendations into consideration.

In the meantime, I offer the following "Public Service Announcement"

....Pineapple Knot_Chat is always open for at least 3 hours every Saturday...
there are clocks on the page to help folks know when the chatroom is open...i
get up early in Alaska when it is evening in Europe/England so folks there can
chat...etc....Sunday Knot_Chat is open too but it does not have a
host (yet!)...i can only host for 3 hours on Saturday....
