Book of Condolence
In Memory Of Gary Sessions
Gary was a true Knot Tyer, and well practiced at the long arm of friendship, which he displayed at all the IGKT meetings he attended.

It was a pleasure to have known you and you will be sadly missed. Linda & Bruce Turley
Gary - another brother lost and gone before! How sad that you were with us for an all-too-brief period and yet what light shone through you to join with us in finding great joy in a simple piece of string! Your art will never be lost nor yet the treasure you have wrought on earth. Thank you Barbara for sharing him with us and thank you Gary for having given so freely and capably of your skills. Lindsey Philpott
Our love and very sincere condolences to Barbara and the rest of the Sessions family. Gary was a lovely man, and it has been a great priviledge to have met him at IGKT functions both in America and England. He will be greatly missed for his unfailing cheerfulness even when obviously unwell, his kindness to everyone and his knotting prowess.
R.I.P. Good Friend. Jeff & Lesley Wyatt
Gary was the premier knot-tyer in Texas and was the one person to organize the Texas knotting group. Barbara and Gary came down to visit when Frank and Lynn Brown were here and that visit was just before his final days began. His ability to continue his activities as the times got harder was remarkable. Barbara's 24 hour care for him was an essential part of that. We are thankful for our friendship and expect to continue that friendship with Barbara. Peace and perseverance. Sam & Missie Lanham
I have never met a member of the Guild I did not like, but some I have liked a heck of a lot.Gary was high on that list. He was one of the best and we are the poorer for his passing. Frank Brown
My heart felt sympathy goes out to Barbara and the rest of Gary's family. I can only hope and in my life time that I can be half the man Gary was. Rest in peace Gary. Barry Brown
It was at my first meeting with the knotting community in Fareham UK, where I met Gary and Barbara. Gary was a master knotter, from whom I learned a lot. With his friendliness and willingness to share his skills, he represented the true spirit of the IGKT. Andree
I was the only horse person there I think, but I never came to a meeting that I didn't take something away with me that I could use on the farm. Gary was a wealth of information and a good leader, as well. Dee and John Schauer
I wish there had been time for us to know him better.
