Book of Condolence

In Memory Of Andy Dart

Andy Dart, a Guild member and for the past 3 years also a Council Member, sadly lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Friday, 7th May 2010. He was killed doing what he loved, riding his bike, and he will be missed by all those who knew him.

Another fellow biker lost, and a knotty friend too. Very, very sad news - my deepest sympathy to Andy's loved ones.
Phil Cook

A young keen Scout Leader and Knot Tyer. He will be missed, not just today, but in the years to come. It was a privilege and pleasure to have known him.
Ken Yalden

Andy was one of the nicest people to meet. He will be greatly missed.
Colin Grundy & Jane Bamford

Andy, it was a pleasure to have known and worked with you across the pond and I feel sure that your presence and knotting skills will be missed on both sides of the Atlantic, as I will miss working with you. Peace and love to your family - you are in our hearts always.
Lindsey Philpott

Only heard last night of the tragic news of Andys accident. We worked togather for a long while at Pizza Hut and I considered Andy a great friend and work colleague. He was a lively, often witty man who I shared great times with while working. He will be sorely missed certainly by me and my heartfelt condolences go out to his family at this sad time...
Bill Avis

So sorry to hear of the tragic death of Andy.
Fred Carrington (former council member)

I never got to know Andy personally, but I have seen the messages on the BHB forum, and I share the grief at the loss of a Knot Tyer. Though I grieve, I am not ungrateful that the IGKT has been blessed with Andy's presence.
My prayers are with his family and friends.
Glenys Chew
